After living in Los Angeles for over 16 years, my husband & I knew we were ready for a slower, more peaceful life. In making the decision about where to move, we knew we wanted to live where we would have room to stretch our legs, far away from the hustle & bustle of city life, and grow our own garden. While my husband did the statistical research, I dove into my own research and had our astrocartography maps pulled to see which areas were most aligned for the both of us.

Though it took several years of visits to numerous states and towns throughout the U.S., along with multiple spreadsheets tracking & recording our research, we landed in Idaho which not only checked all of the boxes from our statistical research, but also ran through both of our astrocartography maps!

For my husband, Idaho runs through his Saturn Line which is closely associated with karmic and ancestral ties. Having grown up on a farm, he is now able to fully express the connection to his ancestral roots on our property through his study & practice of permaculture & regenerative agriculture. My personal map has both the Sun & Mercury Line running through Idaho. This grants me the ultimate boost of confidence in most of my endeavors (professionally & personally) through my Sun Line, while my ability to communicate and express ideas, projects & concepts will be clearly understood and resonant with those who engage through my Mercury Line.

Since our relocation, our quality of life has shifted dramatically for the better, and both he and I have found deeper, more soulful meaning in our day to day lives that wasn’t fully there when we were still living in the big city. While there are some aspects of bigger cities that we miss, the effort we put into uprooting ourselves for a completely different way of life was well worth the effort, making way for discovering new hobbies & interests, and creating deeper connections with our community. As a result, I have taken my love & study of astrology to the next level by fully diving into the practice of astrocartography to help others.
